In the past
In Ancient Egypt, men and women wore similar clothes. They both wore loose, white linen clothes with a belt. Most of the time, Ancient Egyptians did not wear shoes but people sometimes wore expensive leather sandal .Children did not usually wear many clothes until they were about six years old. Then they started to wear the same clothes as their parents. Although Ancient Egyptians' clothes were simple,They loved to w ear heavy, metal jewellery. Like some people today, they liked to wear beautiful gold necklaces and other jewellery.
Women's fashion
Women, particularly upper-class and noblewomen, wore long, dignified, and modest dresses with either short or long sleeves, according to their mode. They were in the habit of covering their shoulders so they didn't use to leave their shoulders bare as some writers claim. According to the Egyptian societey then.

Men's fashion
men in ancient Egypt wore short uniforms. It was generally used to cover the private parts and the lower body area. This because men in ancient Egypt usually spend nearly all the time working outside their houses.which required them to have to be free while moving, whether in the fields, battles, temples and during activities.
king's fashion
The kings of ancient Egypt wore special uniforms which contained special royal to show the position and importance of the king and the chest of the king was bare as seen in most ancient Egypt art.

I bought this shirt from a shop in Cairo, but I am trying to buy fewer clothes. Clothes factories cause a lot of pollution, so they are bad for the environment. So sometimes I borrow my sister's clothes. She borrows mine, too, because we are the same size.
Ayman
These trainers were my dad's. He never wore them , so I asked if I could have them. I like doing sport and these trainers are much better than the ones I used to wear. I usually wear sports clothes because they are comfortable. My favourite sport is football. I usually enjoy playing it with my friends during our free time. When I grow up , I would like to be a footballer like Mohamed Salah. He plays for Liverpool, England.
Dalida
This is my school uniform. I have to wear it every school day. That beautiful dress is the one my grandmother made me for my cousin's wedding. She is amazing at sewing. She always makes us clothes for special occasions.I am fond of colourful clothes. My father always buys me the beautiful clothes I would like to buy.

Egypt is famous for growing crops to make material. The ancient Egyptians grew plants by the Nile to make linen. Almost every one wore clothes made of linen and they also used the plants to make plastics , too.
Today , Egyptian cotton is famous all over the world. Because cotton from Egypt is very good, it is often used to make luxury clothes and things for homes. Many people work in the cotton industry.
